Are you a Mechanical or Process Estimator currently seeking a new and rewarding position. We are excited to be working with this market leading in recruiting an Estimator to join their team. Main duties will include (but are not limited to):-

1. Estimating

• Material take off
• Design review
• Produce Bill of Materials
• Plant selection
• Sending enquiries to suppliers
• Review/evaluation of suppliers quotes
• Final costings and totalizing

2. Surveys

• Attending meeting with clients to confirm and establish URS
• Site survey
• Specification evaluation
• Liaison with design team
• Budget costing

3. Proposals

• Layout/collation of computer derived information. e.g. schematics, histograms, programme.
• Obtaining/submitting of supplier information
• Formalising information into presentation binder

Secondary Duties

1. Presentations

• Preparing/modifying Powerpoint presentation to suit client requirement
• Carrying out technical presentation against proposals submitted
• Visiting with Sales/Project Managers when required, to provide technical support.

2. Assisting Engineering Department

• Working with colleagues and suppliers to help produce detailed design packages for submittal to clients.

• Detailed P&ID production
• Production of equipment, instrumentation and valve schedules
• Production of data sheets
• Produce controls philosophy and FDS
• Plant layout drawings
• Collation of above into formal design package presentation binder.
